Happy Birthday to Mangos Design, Whoop Whoop. Hip Hip Hooray!

It’s been a whole year for Mangos Design and one hell of an adventure. Imagine Disney World’s ‘It’s a small world after all’ ride (I bet you sang that instead of reading it): all singing, all dancing and smiling with a smooth boat ride from start to finish (going off memory here), merged with the ‘Tower of Terror’ ride: being dropped from a scary height, in the dark with occasional burst of light, only to be taken back up to the top, suspended then let go again. Yes, it was like that, but no-one said it would be easy. I’ve started this ride so I’m going to finish it. Everyday from 2nd January to maybe my first sale in August 2019 and now once in a while, I second guessed and doubted everything I was doing, if I was doing the right thing, if it was the right move in my career path.

A year later and I couldn’t be happier I stuck it out and did it, in fact, it made me think why I didn’t do this earlier in my life, earlier in my career. This will always be the case, in any situation. Once it’s done you’ll always think why I didn’t do it earlier, it was silly of me to have doubted myself and why was I so scared? but that’s a normal feeling, it’s natural.

Even though I went live on 5th July 2019, I actually set up and registered my business at the end of January 2019, then it got certified and stamped on 5th February 2019. So that’s when, to me, Mangos Design was really born.

Any hooooooo, here I am a year later and I would like to thank you all for your support, no matter how small or big it was/is, you have helped keep a dream alive and for that I am forever grateful. I would like to take you through the journey of Mangos Design from the beginning to where we are at now.

This exhibition was slightly different, I used this stand, space and time to gather information from future brides and future grooms to see how interested they are to see a wedding stationery range from Mangos.

Wedding stationery like invites, tables plans, menus, welcome boards, selfie frames etc. I was pleasantly surprised. I had already designed a few collections prior to the exhibition, that I displayed as a video loop on my laptop.

It doesn't stop here, more exciting times and long hours for Mangos Design in 2020 and I can honestly say that, I can not wait to show you what's in store, what I can offer for the future Mr & Mrs, maybe even something for the near and dear ones of the future married couple. Let's seeeeee.

Thanks for reading. Stay positive, be kind and believe.

Much love to you all.
